Lectures should be submitted on a USB-Stick to the speakers preview desk at latest 30 minutes prior to the accordant session. For speakers in the morning: Please submit your presentations already the evening before so as to avoid a “rush hour’s jam” in the early morning. Presentations with your own laptop are also welcome!
CREDITS
An application has been made to the UEMS EACCME® for CME accreditation of the event.
By plane
While Innsbruck is not on major international flight paths, the main European carriers serve the airport, which lies 4 km to the west of the city. Internal flights from other Austrian cities arrive and depart daily. From the airport buses run every 20 minutes to the city centre. Taxis are also available and cover the distance to town in about 20 minutes.
By train
There are trains that come into Austria from Venice, Munich and Zurich every day. The services are frequent and you may have up to six trains a day coming in from the above cities. The train network is excellent in Austria and there are connections to Salzburg and Vienna. The Hauptbahnhof or the main station is located at Südtiroler Platz. Opposite of the Grandhotel Europa
APPLY EARLY! The congress secretariat offers an official letter of invitation for Meeting attendees. The letter of invitation, though not required for the visa application, can assist as a supporting document. Present this letter of invitation from Focus Valve to the consular officer during the visa interview. This letter by no means guarantees admittance into Austria, but can provide compelling evidence for immigration officials to consider.
